09.00-10.00 Arrival in Kazan. Group meeting. Things are handed over to the hotel's storage room.
10.00-10.30 Tea party in Tatar style: tea with milk + dried apricots + pancakes from a real village oven.
10.30-11.00 Excursion to the Tatar village "Tagan avylym" - "Native village". Right in the center of Kazan is an ethnographic complex, inside of which there are cute, neat houses decorated in the national style with household items, wells, fences, apiaries and mills.
11.00-13.00 Sightseeing tour of Kazan. In the famous film Ivan the Terrible said: "Kazan took, Astrakhan took". Did you know that at the time of the conquest of Kazan, the young Ivan IV (the future Grozny) was only 22 years old. This and many other historical facts you will learn in this trip.
13.00-14.00 Lunch in a cafe with elements of national Tatar cuisine.
14.00-16.00 Excursion to the Kazan Kremlin (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is a complex of historical and archaeological monuments. Together with the guide, we will visit the Annunciation Cathedral, a building of the XVI century. We will go up to the top 5 level of the Kul-Sharif mosque.
16.00 Check-in at the hotel.
16.00-20.00 Free time.
20.00-22.00 Evening excursion "Lights of Kazan". You will see Kazan in a different light, in the illumination of multi-colored lights, historical and modern buildings are so mysteriously and fabulously illuminated. You will have a great opportunity to take bright and colorful photos, as there are stops and exits at the family center "Kazan-Chasha" and on the Kremlin embankment strewn with small beads of golden lights.
